How We Verify
What "verified" actually means on CareerChowk, and what it does not mean.
What we check
- The source is a recognised organization's own domain, RSS feed or sitemap — registered in our internal source list, not a third-party aggregator.
- The recruitment notification is fetched directly from that source rather than copied from an unofficial summary.
- A change in a source's content is compared against what we previously recorded, so genuine updates (not just re-crawls of the same page) are what trigger a review.
- A member of our editorial team confirms the listing against the source document before it is published.
What "Last Verified" means
The "Last Verified" date shown on a job page reflects an actual event in our system — either the timestamp our source-verification process recorded, or the date an editor last explicitly re-confirmed the listing. It is never set automatically to "today" just to appear fresh.
What verification does not mean
- It does not mean CareerChowk is affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of the recruiting organization.
- It does not guarantee the recruiting organization has not since changed the notification — always check the official link on the job page.
- It is not a government certification or approval of any kind.
If something looks wrong
Report it directly from the job page — see our Corrections Policy.
